I used a different shade of orange for each letter. To create the Cutie letters, Ashley says “I used chipboard letters from the local craft store, spray painted them green, and then covered them in orange scrapbook paper. The juice bar was topped with astro turf from a home improvement store, and guests were served virgin “Tangeritas” and ice water. She says, “I wanted the event to have a ‘fresh from the orchard’ feeling.” “I fell in love at that moment and the ideas just started flowing!”Īshley and I worked together to come up with the perfect orange theme invitation – a little modern, a little country, and definitely sweet! Ashley weaved a green and orange ribbon through the top of each card to give them an extra-special touch, and she bought lime green envelopes to match. “I remember seeing the Cutie logo and then it just hit me – a “Little Cutie” baby shower,” Ashley said. Presented with the challenge of planning a gender-neutral but still bright and unique baby shower, Ashley found her inspiration in a most unusual place – the produce aisle at the grocery store! Sometimes the very best ideas start with a very blank slate! That’s definitely the case for this gorgeous baby shower that was dreamed up by my party-plannin’ pal Ashley at Attention 2 Detail Events.
